The digital tour will take you to the homes of three mezcaleros from three different ecosystems, using three different distillation techniques to turn three different species of maguey into delicious liquid. This package includes a virtual tour through our mezcaleros’ palenques, where you can observe the traditional process of making agave spirits (11-minute video), meet the mezcaleros (10-minute video), and join our street tasting through Oaxaca (6-minute video) by letting us all know which was your favorite in the review plugin! Your access to our restricted signature palenque tour is further complete with an extensive photo gallery, drone videos and extra footage, individual bottles for re-order, post questions for the mezcaleros to answer, and more!
Just about every last component of this package was locally sourced from Oaxaca, Mexico and made by local artisans and small businesses that keep this culture so rich and artisanal. Starting with the beautiful pine box itself, complete with an agave rope handle for easy transportation, you will be adding a piece of art to your home. There are four hand-made gift sets accompanying your experience to really highlight the artisanal culture of Oaxaca, complete with a limited edition screen print that would look great framed in your bar. Every new batch of 200 boxes, we create a new limited edition design from a rotation of Oaxacan artisans so you never know what you are going to get.
Last but not least, we searched this region high and low to bring you three of our all-time favorite agave spirits that will take you through a large spectrum of process variations, agaves, ecosystems, and mezcaleros. It wouldn’t be right to put these fine spirits in a normal industrial bottle, so we packaged them in three 375 mL 100% recycled glass artisanal bottles wrapped with an agave fiber label and beautifully handpainted corks.
