Sake is naturally gluten-free. Our sake is hand-crafted in Medfield, MA, and packaged in US-made single-serve glass bottles.

Junmai Sake

Farthest Star Sake’s flagship junmai sake is made with Yamadanishki rice grown by the Isbell family in Arkansas, hard water, and two yeast strains for a complexity of fruit flavors and a peppery, medium-dry finish. This super-clean sake pairs well with a variety of foods, allowing for a delicious choose-your-own-adventure experience.

Farthest Star Sake’s flagship nigori (unfiltered) sake is made with Yamadanishiki rice grown by the Isbell family in Arkansas, soft water, and yeast from the central mountains of Japan resulting in a fruity and sweet sake with clean acidity. Explore the depths of this cloudy sake and discover layers of fruit and rice.

We’re especially known for our big ol’ imperial stouts and our innovative sour ales, but no style is off limits for our menagerie of talented brewers. Our beers are exciting, new, contemporary, and (we think) super cool – but they’re also backed by nearly 100 years of brewing experience. We’ve come a long way since illegal bathtub beers, but the passion and innovation is still there!
