Mad Trucker, a Bogberry Sour brewed with local cranberries from Decas Farms.

We partnered with Decas Farms to make a deliciously snappy sour that's sure to please any Asian food or BBQ fan. Decas Farms grew the berries for our first cranberry beer, the barrel-aged Cranberry Lambic back in 2002. Why do we like partnering with Decas Farms? Because we genuinely respect their efforts as both a local farm and a member of our South Coast community.

They work with almost 450 acres of active bog, and for each of those acres, they maintain five acres of unspoiled open space. Their sensitivity to and reverence for nature and the environment is admirable. Like our farm, they are a family business with deep ties to our community, supporting various local activities and organizations, including YMCAs and food banks.

On our farm in Westport, we wholeheartedly believe in environmental stewardship and sustainable farming. Decas Farms feels and works with the same philosophy. Both Buzzards Bay Brewing and Decas Farms make our living from the land; we have a huge stake in keeping our environment healthy and passing along a better farm to future generations.
