VEGAMAR BODEGAS is a family-run winery founded in 1999, located in Calles in the province of Valencia, 65km from the sea and at over 600m altitude. This special geographical situation allows us to produce wines that convey, through their aromas and flavours, the very essence of the local mountains and the Mediterranean character of the Alto Turia. 

Our vineyards are found within the most natural of environments, surrounded by the Tuéjar and Turia rivers. This spectacularly beautiful setting, ideal for vine-growing and fruit production, offers a microclimate that is unique in this mountain area, in which no other vineyards than our own are planted.

For each little sip to be enjoyable we know that the taste must be authentic. This is why we harvest only when nature dictates that we should. In this way, we are able to explore genuine new flavours which we are eager to share with friends, confident that the wines will earn their approval.

Ruby red with purple glints.
Intensely aromatic with layers of red berry fruit, redcurrants and strawberry compote. Good complexity and a subtle hint of new oak.
Fleshy, full bodied and structured. Soft, round tannins and balanced acidity.
